John and other staff members at Artistic Cabinetry love to get involved in special appearances or public speaking engagements. With his culinary background John sponsors the South Florida Living Green Fair each year where he conducts cooking demos to entertain and educate the community. The fair promotes "being green" and environmentally respective in our lives. But by demonstrating how cooking easy to prepare and wholesome foods for your family John's message on being green is "being healthy". John promotes the message of providing nutritious and convenient to prepare meals for your family instead of having to rely on frozen or pre-packaged foods high in additives and sodium. "We all have a need to feed ourselves, but convenience should never be a trade to nutrition".
John is a contributor to local newspapers and publications on the subject of interior design and also is a featured speaker at the Broward and Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show four times each year. "Mom was a teacher, so educating others is in the blood" says John.
Artistic Cabinetry also gives back to the community by volunteering time and building materials to Habitat for Humanity's local residential projects
